TDK Site Redesign Again + V3 Launch
TDK v3 is officially out bitches. Yes, we redesigned the website yet again because the last layout was terrible too.Yes, TDK v3 is officially out as of today. We're finally here, it took forever but we will begin using this place way more than we previously have (I promise). I would like to list some of these amazing changes I've made, these should majorly help TDK out for what we will be doing next:
TDK Changes/Updates
-> Yet Another Website RedesignSo admittedly, this site's layout has never been good. That was until now, it is far, far superior now. Also, images take less folders because I didn't make the sorting complete shit on this website. As a result, we're now gonna have more space for images/blogs (not like that'll be an issue with how much I optimize things just out of necessity sometimes). Links in general will also be shorter which is nice. If blogs were more frequent and shorter, I'd start optimizing them too.
-> TDK Guilded Forums
We now have a public forum for TDK. That being #Flipnote/Miiverse forums on Guilded. That is currently the only actually public forum, note that rules are more strict there due to it being visible to literally everyone. However, I will still not be too harsh. Just don't say too mean of stuff or I'll simply warn you in order to comply with Guilded TOS (and by "warn" I mean just say what to edit out and DM u a post link). As for other forums, there is some such as #3DSPaint/DSiPaint in the server too, but they aren't public. Starter Forums haven't been made public at this time, but only to stop issues of raiders coming in and causing all these issues for everyone because we can't be online 24/7 still.
-> Twitter Deletion
Yes, I have deleted the TDK/Venith Twitter for the 1 person (if anyone) who is wondering where it went. There is a seperate TDK Community on Twitter that was made on my alt @AnalogCheese, however I have considered closing it due to it being dead and being unable to transfer my Twitter community to my main account. If I can't find a way to transfer it, I will likely just delete my alt after making my main the highest-mod level and if it survives still then thats cool. Otherwise, thats it for TDK on Twitter unless you have it in your username/advertise it there like I will on my main.

NOTE: I AM NOW IN HIGH-SCHOOL (9TH GRADE), I AM NOT HOME-SCHOOLED IN 7TH/8TH GRADE ANYMORE LIKE I WAS WHENEVER I STARTED TDK. THIS MAY FORCE ME TO ACTUALLY START WORKING EARLIER BUT EVEN THOUGH I WILL DO SO THE MOMENT I CAN, THAT WILL STILL HAVE A CHANCE AT DELAYING CHANGES TO TDK. SIMILARLY, IF I NEVER COME BACK ONLINE THEN ASSUME THE WORST CASE SCENARIO LIKE YOU SHOULD ALWAYS EXPECT BECAUSE I AM LITERALLY ALMOST ALWAYS ON IF I AM NOT BUSY SUCH AS AT SCHOOL (48 HOURS OR MORE OF NO ACTIVITY ANYWHERE, ASK FRENS JUST IN CASE IVE BEEN BUSY THOUGH)Now with that out the way, I want to say some other things I've been working on :D
These are not TDK related (for the most part), but I'd figure I list them for the audience overlap + just because they're kinda cool and will explain some of the reason I'm not always updating TDK.
-> Venith Remake
I remade the Venithcast Website and plan to start releasing more episodes soon. Last episode was months ago, I won't reveal who I want to get onto the podcast yet though. This will be a fire episode whenever I can get him on for an interview though, I will continue doing this and it will be pretty cool. I expect my storage to start going up soon, also I have considered making a readable text-version for people who are deaf, but I will have to see if its possible (such as via AI). If you are on the podcast, please try to speak semi-clearly if you're able to (Blue Yeti microphone is like $80 I like it a hell of a lot).
-> v11 DC-Blog Neocities
I've been working on v11 of dc-blog on neocities which has been fun. Its more so focused on easily linking things and basic optimizations + seeing if I can build certain elements from JavaScript for convenience so I don't have to manually edit every footer or link-menu page. The biggest problem with the dc-blog archive that I've had for months now is that you can't actually link anything made onto your website conveniently. I can add the IDs for linking, but they won't open the spoilers to the point that it'll let you open the spoilers I made.
I might have to do extremely advanced stuff now (at least compared to what I've done before), but I believe it'll majorly help out. This would be because it would make the archives actually worth anything. No point in archiving all of that whenever you can't actually link it to anyone, its ok to not have a Wayback link if you archive a simple text-version on your website, however being unable to link that too causes issues. Basically, its a convenience/functionality thing. Now as to how I will do this, I am not sure. I will have to figure it out eventually, until then that part is a WIP.
-> Leaving Twitter Entirely
Basically, I'm getting sick of it as a whole. I don't want to replace Twitter btw so I won't use the Fediverse stuff much, at least not the Mastodon/Mastodon alternatives side of things. The only thing I will use as anything even sort of like a Twitter/X "alternative" is the statuses page and I might make major changes to it whenever I get too big to just keep it how it is currently. RSS Feeds will be used for those who want notifications, you really should use RSS (such as via email clients like Thunderbird).
-> RSS Feeds
Speaking of RSS feeds, all of my sites will support them nowadays if possible. This is due to many of the advantages of them along with lack of downside other than being "old". Easy sorting of feeds, supported in many email clients like Thunderbird, easy notifications without cookies/accounts or anything like that, etc. Its good, you need an RSS feed eventually and its just useful in general. The return of RSS feeds should happen, thats why TDK will soon have one along with Venith (dc-blog already has one, just very rarely updated due to how the site is setup).
